Role Overview
This part-time remote role supports a premium exterior lighting company in building a stronger brand through visual storytelling, social media execution, and organized content production. The position is centered on turning finished projects into polished marketing assets that help attract homeowners and reinforce trust.
The company operates from Ohio, USA, and focuses on luxury Christmas lighting, permanent architectural lighting, and commercial lighting displays. The role is expected to run for 20 to 30 hours per week with flexible scheduling, although some working time should overlap with U.S. Eastern Time business hours from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Compensation is competitive and depends on experience, skill level, and portfolio quality.
Social Media Content
- Plan and schedule posts across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn.
- Write captions that are engaging and on-brand.
- Research relevant hashtags and emerging trends.
- Keep the content calendar current and organized.
- Adapt existing material into multiple content formats.
Graphic Design
You will create marketing visuals such as social media graphics, Instagram Stories, promotional flyers, yard sign concepts, email creatives, website banners, seasonal campaign assets, event graphics, and before-and-after layouts.
Video Editing
The job also includes editing short-form video content, including Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts, customer testimonials, before-and-after transformations, drone footage, time-lapse installation clips, and promotional videos.
Content Organization
- Sort and manage customer photos and videos.
- Maintain a searchable media library.
- Label seasonal assets so they can be reused later.
- Keep project folders clean and easy to navigate.
Community Management
- Reply to comments and direct messages.
- Support customer engagement across platforms.
- Route sales questions to the right team member.
- Monitor online conversations and interactions.
AI-Assisted Content Creation
AI tools may be used to support caption drafting, blog outlines, email graphics, content ideation, video subtitles, image enhancement, and workflow improvements.
Success Measures
During the first six months, success means keeping a reliable posting rhythm, producing strong graphics and videos, improving engagement, building a well-structured media archive, and raising the overall consistency and quality of the brand.
