Job description
About the Company
VaynerX is a group of businesses focused on helping brands stay relevant in the present moment. Established by Gary Vaynerchuk in January 2017, the parent company includes several brands and agencies such as VaynerMedia, ChukMedia, Tamara Group, Gallery Media Group, Eva Nosidam Productions, Tingley Lane Trading, and VaynerSpeakers.
VaynerMedia is a global creative and media agency designed for the modern audience. As a modern agency partner, it helps brands earn attention, stay culturally relevant, and produce measurable business outcomes. Founded in 2009, it operates across 15 offices around the world, including Sydney, and is part of the VaynerX family.
ChukMedia is another VaynerX agency, created to help enterprise brands move with cultural momentum. It blends entrepreneurial speed with enterprise-level delivery to support growth across brand, social, creative production, and contemporary marketing systems.
Tamara Group is an attention, media, and relevance agency shaped by editorial, influencer, and experiential experience. Its focus is on growth and disruption through attention and cultural relevance.
VaynerMedia APAC is built on a culture of empathy and collaboration, bringing together diverse teams to create strategic and creative solutions centered on people. Across the region, the team supports major brands and works at the point where attention meets culture.
Role Overview
This position calls for a creator who thinks strategically, tells stories well, and enjoys making content. The ideal person is deeply interested in pop culture and social media, with a particularly strong grasp of TikTok and current trends on the platform.
You should be a hands-on creator who can manage the full process from idea generation to final execution. The work involves producing content across social and digital channels in different formats, including static visuals, video, GIFs, and other assets. In addition to working independently, you should also be comfortable collaborating with creative teammates to shape and deliver ideas for both smaller brand moments and larger campaign work.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute content ideas for social and digital platforms, with a strong focus on TikTok and other major networks.
- Produce creative assets in multiple formats, including images, motion pieces, videos, GIFs, and related digital content.
- Carry work from concept through to completion, both independently and in collaboration with other creatives.
- Adapt ideas for brand-level content as well as broader campaign executions.
- Maintain a high standard of visual quality across colour, texture, treatment, typography, and brand consistency.
- Track platform trends, emerging tools, and shifts in online culture to inform creative output.
- Apply feedback constructively, communicate clearly, and manage multiple priorities at once.
Skills and Experience Needed
The ideal candidate should already understand how TikTok works at a deep level, along with other social platforms and their creative conventions. Experience designing for digital and social environments across formats is important, as is familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud, especially After Effects and Premiere Pro.
Strong aesthetic judgment, sharp attention to detail, and the ability to turn a concept into finished work are essential. You should also bring solid brainstorming ability, self-motivation, cultural awareness, and a strong sense of online language, humour, and trends.
What Makes You a Strong Fit
You are likely to succeed in this role if you are passionate about social media, especially TikTok, and if you naturally keep up with creators, internet culture, and emerging digital trends. Production experience is an advantage, and a portfolio is expected as part of your application.
Working Style
The team describes its environment as more experimental and fast-moving than a traditional agency. It operates with a startup-like pace and a test-and-learn mindset, with an emphasis on solving business problems rather than producing advertising for its own sake. The culture encourages curiosity, experimentation, and collaboration with talented colleagues.
Additional Information
Candidates are encouraged to share their portfolio. The company is also open to reviewing talent across other VaynerX businesses, including ChukMedia, VaynerMedia, Gallery Media Group, and VX Services.
