The role calls for a professional who can write fluently in both English and Arabic, with a background in telecommunications and strong familiarity with Saudi corporate communications.
Key responsibilities
- Create Arabic and English press releases, media statements, Q&As, briefing documents, biographies, talking points, and spokesperson support material.
- Write leadership communications such as speeches, remarks, CEO messages, executive social posts, opinion pieces, and interview replies.
- Help build a messaging framework that includes narrative themes, approved phrasing, sensitive-topic guidance, and audience-specific messaging.
- Translate, localize, and adapt English copy into clear, natural Arabic that fits Saudi media expectations and public communication standards.
- Prepare campaign messaging, launch communications, social media copy, event content, internal updates, and public institutional materials.
- Draft issue-management content, including holding statements, reactive responses, clarification notes, and approved question-and-answer sets.
- Maintain a consistent voice, terminology, message structure, technical precision, and bilingual quality across all written outputs.
Candidate profile
- Relevant degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, Business, or a similar discipline.
- Seven to ten years of experience in Saudi Arabia writing for public relations or executive communications, including at least three years in telecommunications or broadcast.
- Strong command of Saudi corporate tone and the language nuances used in local media writing.
- Proven ability to write and adapt material for telecom and ICT topics such as connectivity, digital services, enterprise technology, customer experience, innovation, and Vision 2030.
- Hands-on experience producing press releases, statements, Q&As, speeches, CEO messages, reports, newsletters, website content, and campaign assets.
- Excellent spoken and written English and Arabic skills, with the ability to translate accurately between both languages.
- Must already be based in Riyadh and available to start immediately.
