DAZN is a global sports platform offering premium live and on-demand content to sports enthusiasts worldwide. This role focuses on enhancing basketball fan experience through innovative and engaging social media content that drives community interaction and passion for the sport.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce and publish short-form social media content across platforms including TikTok, Instagram, X, Facebook, and YouTube.
- Provide live coverage of basketball games, generating real-time content around significant plays and fan engagement.
- Self-record, present, and feature regularly on camera as part of the content production process.
- Edit vertical video content efficiently ensuring rapid turnaround for social sharing.
- Edit and transform live basketball footage into compelling social media clips.
- Lead the creation of personality-driven, reactive content during live games and important basketball events.
- Spot emerging trends and craft captivating basketball stories around them.
- Work closely with the Social Manager and wider team to implement content strategies.
- Contribute new ideas and formats to advance basketball content on social platforms.
Candidate Requirements
- Demonstrable experience in producing engaging social-first content (portfolio required).
- A deep passion for basketball coupled with thorough knowledge of its culture.
- Confident on-camera presence with regular presentation experience.
- Advanced filming, editing, and complete content production capabilities.
- Strong familiarity with social media trends, platforms, and audience behaviors.
- Ability to perform effectively under fast-paced, live-event pressures.
- Creative and proactive with solid execution skills.
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
