Job description
About Kayden Connect
Kayden Connect is an internal communications platform designed to ensure leadership messages effectively reach their audience. It is a Wyoming-based LLC, founded by a solo founder, currently in invitation-only early access with general availability forthcoming. The company is preparing to assemble its founding team in the near future.
Role Overview
This position will be filled within the first 90 days after product launch. Candidates are encouraged to register their interest now to be prioritized for initial conversations. The role involves managing the marketing presence including the company blog, newsletter, founding customer community, and early developer/operator engagement. Content must be authentic and valuable to internal communications professionals, not generic SEO-focused material.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the editorial schedule delivering three thoughtful, quality content pieces each month without filler
- Establish and oversee the founding customer community using platforms such as Slack or Discord, including monthly calls and asynchronous digests
- Take charge of the company's newsletter and advance the current efforts, which are presently handled solely by the founder
- Handle the social media channels and cultivate organic, non-paid distribution methods
Qualifications
- Previous experience leading content marketing for a B2B SaaS enterprise
- Exceptional, confident writing skills with proven content recognized for quality and craft rather than just SEO
- Understanding of the internal communications operator's role and audience
- Ability to communicate asynchronously and maintain the brand voice independently without daily founder supervision
Preferred Attributes
- Background in internal communications, HR technology, or employee experience sectors
- Experience fostering community engagement via Slack, Discord, or founder-led groups
- Management of newsletters with subscriber bases exceeding 10,000
Benefits
- Opportunity for meaningful equity as part of the founding team
- Remote-first and asynchronous working environment
- Editorial control over published content with founder review
- Annual team retreats once the team exceeds three members
Additional Information
The position is not currently open for hiring; interested candidates should register their interest to be contacted when the role becomes available. Location is fully remote worldwide, and employment is full-time. Other founding roles anticipated include engineer, designer, and customer success positions, all remote and full-time.
