Through initiatives such as the Founder Catalyst programme, Startup Aotearoa platform, Electrify Aotearoa, and a nationwide community network, MoA supports startups at every stage from concept through to investment and growth. They create connections between founders and essential resources including knowledge, mentoring, investors, and opportunities to build sustainable, high-growth companies that benefit people, the planet, and New Zealand's future.
MoA collaborates with founders, investors, government bodies, corporates, universities, and various startup support systems to enhance the innovation ecosystem and increase chances of success for entrepreneurs throughout New Zealand.
Role Overview
As a Content & Communications Specialist, your main responsibility will be narrating the stories that highlight New Zealand's entrepreneurial talent and innovation landscape. You will manage the entire content lifecycle—from interviewing founders and writing captivating stories to designing visuals, publishing across different platforms, and analyzing data to optimize audience connection.
This role is hands-on and versatile, requiring skills in storytelling, HubSpot email campaign building, website updates, social media asset creation, presentation development, and managing multi-channel content coordination.
Success Metrics
Performance in this position is gauged by the caliber and consistency of storytelling, increased audience engagement, effectiveness of marketing campaigns, and growth in MoA's programmes, community presence, and reputation.
