Overview
U.S. Bank is seeking a dedicated Contact Center Customer Experience Specialist to join their Cardmember Services team. This role offers remote work opportunities with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to fraud support and internet operations. The position involves liaison duties between customers and various internal departments to resolve complex concerns.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond promptly and effectively to customer inquiries via telephone and email.
- Investigate and resolve problems, including those associated with fraud and internet services.
- Acquire in-depth knowledge of bank products, services, fees, regulations, and procedures.
- Serve as an intermediary between customers and U.S. Bank's departments for complex issue resolution.
Work Schedule and Compensation
The work hours are assigned between 8:00 AM and 2:30 PM Central Time, including weekend shifts on alternating Saturdays and Sundays. Employees receive a day off midweek to compensate for weekend work. A 10% shift differential is provided for shifts starting at or after 12:30 PM local time. The hourly pay rate is $20.
Qualifications
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 18 months of experience in customer service or a related field.
- Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
- Capability to manage multiple computer systems and effectively use search tools.
- Proven aptitude in time management and multitasking.
- Experience handling dissatisfied customers with a positive approach.
- Excellent verbal communication, clarity, and courteous tone.
- Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office suite.
Location Preference
This is a U.S. home-based remote role, with a preference for candidates residing near the following hubs: Cincinnati, OH; Milwaukee, WI; Twin Cities, MN; St. Louis, MO; Atlanta, GA; Charlotte, NC; Phoenix/Tempe, AZ.
