This internal consulting role collaborates closely with top management to devise transformative strategies that foster the digital growth and sustainable competitiveness of Mercedes-Benz.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on strategic and operational business challenges.
• Develop innovative strategies and solutions in close cooperation with clients.
• Manage and deliver on defined project work packages effectively.
• Lead teams responsible for specific segments of consulting projects.
• Derive new conceptual approaches and methodologies for future assignments.

Requirements

• Completed university degree with above-average academic results, preferably in economics, mechanical engineering, or industrial engineering.
• Relevant professional experience at an international strategy consulting firm, corporate strategy department in the automotive industry, or related sectors.
• International exposure through multi-month stays abroad.
• Fluent proficiency in both German and English.
• Optional but advantageous expertise in digital business models and ecosystems.
• Knowledge of agile product/software development (e.g., Design Thinking, SCRUM, DevOps, CICD), backlog planning, requirements engineering, and cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.

Additional Information

This is a permanent position based in Stuttgart, Germany. The successful candidate will undergo training and coaching programs to enhance soft skills and prepare for upcoming challenges, including 3 to 5 days of yearly training opportunities. The role offers exposure to diverse projects within Mercedes-Benz AG, fostering broad knowledge and internal networking. Engagement in internal initiatives focusing on diversity, recruitment events, and training development is encouraged.
