Core Responsibilities and Expertise Required

• Possess deep knowledge of technology resilience, including recovery architectures, IT continuity plans, backup solutions, and failover mechanisms.
• Proven experience in executing Technology Impact Analysis or similar assessments to identify vital IT dependencies.
• Demonstrated hands-on involvement in conducting Disaster Recovery drills actively.
• Expertise in creating, implementing, and maintaining operational runbooks to support technology resilience strategies.
• Capability to assess data centers, hybrid or cloud infrastructures, and application ecosystems through a resilience viewpoint.
• Skill in translating complex technical risks into clear business impact narratives for non-technical audiences.
• Participation in formulating or assisting resilience strategies, roadmaps, and implementation plans tailored for enterprise clients.
• Understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements related to technology resilience, particularly in sectors such as financial services, energy, and government.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of business continuity, crisis management, and operational resilience frameworks beyond IT-focused areas.
• Experience facilitating tabletop exercises, technical simulations, or chaos engineering activities.
• Familiarity with cloud resilience models including multi-AZ/multi-region failover, and backup/restore processes within AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud platforms.
• Insight into cyber-resilience interplay areas like ransomware readiness, zero-trust recovery approaches, and secure-by-design methodologies.
• Exposure to advanced resilience technologies such as immutable backups, cyber vaults, disaster recovery as a service, and cloud-native recovery solutions.
• Proficiency in evaluating resilience postures and advising enhancements using industry-aligned frameworks such as ISO 22301, DORA, NIST, and COBIT.
• Awareness of emerging technology risks including AI system resilience, edge computing, and Operational Technology/Industrial Control Systems environments.
• Professional certifications like ISO 22301 Lead Auditor/Implementer, CBCI, cloud certifications (AWS/Azure), or operational resilience accreditations.
