Role Summary
We are searching for a highly experienced Technical Consultant specialized in the real estate, construction, and infrastructure sectors. The role demands strong end-to-end project management skills combined with technical proficiency to lead project execution, conduct site audits, and evaluate technical aspects thoroughly. The Consultant will contribute towards quality assurance, compliance, risk mitigation, and project delivery by collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage complete lifecycle of real estate and construction projects, from initial planning to successful completion.
- Perform technical site inspections and audits to assess quality and adherence to standards at different project phases.
- Review and validate project designs, technical drawings, bills of quantities (BOQs), and specifications.
- Ensure compliance with applicable construction norms, safety laws, and local building regulations.
- Identify and analyze technical risks and develop strategies to overcome challenges during project execution.
- Work closely with architects, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams for smooth project coordination.
- Track and monitor project schedules, budgets, and execution quality.
- Provide technical expertise during feasibility assessments and overall project planning.
- Prepare detailed audit reports, technical evaluations, and recommendations for stakeholders.
- Assist with value engineering and cost control initiatives aimed at optimizing project expenditure.
Required Expertise and Qualifications
- Thorough knowledge of construction techniques and the real estate project development lifecycle.
- Practical experience in site execution and conducting comprehensive site audits.
- Understanding of construction materials, structural systems, and finishing quality standards.
- Familiarity with regulatory approvals, compliances, and industry frameworks relevant to construction projects.
- Ability to interpret and analyze technical drawings and project documentation proficiently.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with strong decision-making capabilities.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills for multi-disciplinary collaboration.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (B.E./B.Tech – Civil) required; MBA in Construction Management, Real Estate, or Project Management preferred.
Experience Preference
Prior experience working with real estate developers, construction companies, or project management consultancies is favored. Exposure to residential, commercial, or mixed-use developments is beneficial. Previous roles in technical consulting or advisory capacities will be advantageous.
