Role Overview
The PCA Financial Reporting Ireland team is responsible for supporting the financial reporting requirements of Private Equity, Real Estate and Infrastructure, and Hedge Fund Services clients. This opportunity sits within a newly created department designed to bring all Alternatives clients together under one team, offering exposure across the three previously separate areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide dependable client service by completing assigned work accurately and within required timelines, including individual tasks within larger processes and information requests.
- Assist with preparing fund financial statements and related disclosures on quarterly, semi-annual, and/or annual cycles.
- Work with external auditors and address audit-related questions.
- Prepare regulatory submissions where relevant, including returns to the Central Bank.
- Ensure client service commitments and regulatory filing deadlines are consistently achieved.
- Coordinate between onshore and offshore shared services teams to drive timely resolution of audit requests and follow-up actions.
- Partner with colleagues to develop a scalable operating model for financial reporting.
Skills and Qualifications
- Prior accounting experience in the investment industry, with financial reporting exposure considered an advantage.
- Good understanding of accounting principles is preferred.
- Qualified accountant or part-qualified candidate who is keen to complete the qualification is advantageous.
- Ability to work in a structured way, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Very good desktop, IT, and systems capability.
- Experience with Yardi and/or Investran would be beneficial.
