Consultant Critical Care Medicine

Position overview

This role is for a Consultant in Critical Care Medicine who will work in a multidisciplinary hospital setting and deliver high-quality care for seriously ill patients. The position focuses on evidence-based treatment, clinical excellence, and maintaining strong patient safety standards.

Qualifications and experience

• An MBBS or MD, along with a recognised postgraduate qualification in Critical Care Medicine or an equivalent recognised credential, is required.
• Candidates should have at least 10 years of hospital-based experience in Critical Care Medicine.
• Hands-on experience treating critically ill patients in an Intensive Care Unit is expected.
• A UAE License, DHA eligibility, MOH evaluation, SHA eligibility, or the ability to qualify for one of these is necessary.
• Applicants from India are preferred.
• Those who can join immediately are preferred.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage critically ill adults admitted to the ICU.
• Create and carry out treatment plans based on evidence for severe and life-threatening conditions.
• Carry out critical care procedures in line with accepted clinical standards and best practices.
• Track patient progress and work closely with other disciplines to improve outcomes.
• Keep clinical records accurate and comply with quality assurance and patient safety requirements.
