Role Overview
Join the Client Projects and Consulting domain within the Controlling, Regulation and Audit tribe as a Consultant specializing in Business Continuity Management. This full- or part-time position (minimum 30 hours per week) is located in Karlsruhe, Munich, or Münster. You will be part of the Business Continuity Management squad collaborating with three colleagues across locations and engaging with diverse stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert advisory services to clients on cyberattack incidents by analyzing events and formulating effective countermeasures.
- Serve as the primary contact for clients, guiding them through critical situations.
- Assist banks in complying with regulatory requirements related to information security and business continuity.
- Independently plan and conduct crisis management exercises to enhance clients’ reaction capabilities and resilience.
- Identify vital business processes, evaluate their protection needs, and implement suitable measures.
- Participate in nationwide projects with frequent multi-day travel approximating 100–130 days annually.
Candidate Profile
- Degree in (business) informatics or equivalent qualification with extensive (over 6 years) relevant experience in cybersecurity.
- Strong expertise in information security, incident response, and business continuity management.
- Proficiency in analyzing and managing cyberattacks, familiarity with common security standards such as ISO 27001 and BSI IT-Grundschutz, and experience with protection needs and business impact analyses.
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks especially in the financial sector, including MaRisk and DORA.
- Fluent German language skills (minimum C1 level) and good English proficiency (at least B2 level).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, a solution-oriented mindset, and strong entrepreneurial thinking and acting.
