About the Role
Tahaluf is a leading organiser of large-scale B2B live and on-demand events in Saudi Arabia, known for its major collaborations and high-profile exhibitions across technology, real estate, cybersecurity, pharma, and more. This opportunity is for a Conference Producer who can stay closely connected to a fast-moving industry and confidently engage with expert speakers from around the world. The role calls for strong organisation, solid commercial awareness, and the ability to manage speakers and the on-site flow of the conference.
What You Will Do
- Develop high-quality, industry-relevant conference agendas and programmes.
- Work with leading professionals, institutions, and businesses to shape conference content.
- Reach out to invited speakers, build interest in the event, and secure their participation.
- Keep the speaker database current so event teams always have accurate speaker information and files.
- Create and share clear creative briefing documents with the marketing team.
- Support the sponsorship team by providing lead opportunities and attending sales discussions when needed.
- Guide and support other conference producers within the team.
- Carry out post-event review and analysis, including analysis of job titles represented.
- Research market topics by speaking with industry specialists and understanding the target audience.
- Generate new conference concepts and content ideas through meetings and telephone research with experts.
- Partner with the Director and sales colleagues to expand and improve the conference portfolio.
- Identify influential individuals, institutions, and companies relevant to each event.
- Build and maintain strong relationships that support topic development and speaker acquisition.
- Explore additional formats and engagement opportunities such as workshops, poster sessions, and association partnerships to attract more delegates.
- Network with speakers, exhibitors, and delegates during the event to deliver strong customer service, address questions, and gather feedback.
- Support onsite event operations as required, including extended working hours during the event period.
What We Are Looking For
- A degree or an equivalent qualification.
- At least 2 years of experience in conference production.
- Strong spoken and written English, with the ability to communicate confidently with both individuals and groups.
- Good computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Commercial awareness and a research-led mindset.
- Copywriting ability.
- Good understanding of branding and market trends.
- Preferred exposure to the investment and startup ecosystem, gaming and esports, or security-related sectors.
