Company Overview
Raffles & Fairmont The Red Sea is being developed within Saudi Arabia’s ambitious Red Sea Project. The property is designed as a nature-led resort with 361 rooms, eleven dining experiences, an overwater restaurant overlooking the Red Sea and mangroves, and a spa. It will sit beside an 18-hole championship golf course, reinforcing Fairmont’s identity as a premium golf destination. The development is set along 200 km of unspoiled coastline and is surrounded by more than 90 pristine islands, dormant volcanoes, rich marine life, and archaeological heritage, all while aiming to establish new benchmarks in sustainable development.
Role Summary
The concierge will deliver refined, personalized guest service in line with Fairmont’s renowned hospitality standards. This role focuses on anticipating guest needs, curating exceptional experiences, and ensuring every request is handled with discretion, accuracy, and care.
Guest Experience and Service Excellence
- Create a welcoming and highly personalized experience for every guest, reflecting Fairmont’s signature service approach.
- Offer expert guidance on dining, entertainment, cultural activities, transportation, and exclusive local experiences.
- Respond to guest requests quickly, thoughtfully, and discreetly while ensuring complete follow-through.
- Keep a strong understanding of guest preferences, special celebrations, and cultural considerations to tailor service accordingly.
Coordination and Operations
- Work closely with departments such as Front Office, Housekeeping, Butler Service, Food & Beverage, Spa, and Security to deliver smooth guest journeys.
- Develop productive relationships with luxury vendors, partners, and service providers to arrange priority access and memorable experiences.
- Coordinate reservations, tickets, transport, and special arrangements with a high degree of accuracy.
- Record guest interactions and preferences carefully in the property management system.
Standards, Etiquette, and Brand Representation
- Maintain Fairmont’s standards for grooming, etiquette, and presentation at all times.
- Communicate with polish, grace, and cultural sensitivity expected of a luxury heritage brand.
- Address guest issues proactively and tactfully to preserve satisfaction and loyalty.
- Represent the brand with professionalism and an authentic understanding of Fairmont’s values and legacy.
Compliance and Professional Conduct
- Follow hotel policies, safety procedures, and confidentiality expectations.
- Manage sensitive guest information with complete integrity and discretion.
- Take part in ongoing training to strengthen product knowledge, service delivery, and brand standards.
Qualifications and Experience
The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of experience in a luxury hotel concierge or guest relations position, preferably in a 5-star or ultra-luxury environment. Les Clefs d’Or certification, or eligibility for it, is highly valued. Strong familiarity with the destination, luxury lifestyle offerings, and the expectations of high-end clientele is essential. Experience in pre-opening operations is required, including project coordination, scheduling, and document control.
