Job description
Position Summary
This role involves partnering across all organizational levels, including Store Management, Market Management, and Subject Matter Experts, to educate both associates and managers on company compliance programs. The Compliance Lead is responsible for monitoring compliance controls within their facility, analyzing root causes of issues, driving corrective actions, and fostering continuous improvement to build trust among customers, associates, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote compliance and safety awareness using Ethics and Compliance resources.
- Conduct facility assessments in compliance areas such as Health & Safety, Environmental care, Consumer Protection, Anti Money Laundering, Food Safety and Pest Control, Privacy & Employment, Licenses & Permits, and Anti-Corruption.
- Provide immediate compliance training across all levels within the facility, including during new associate orientation sessions.
- Analyze data to detect program execution gaps and trends, identify root causes, and assist in developing and implementing corrective action plans aimed at mitigating risks and enhancing compliance.
- Participate in regulatory inspections (excluding Health & Wellness and HR issues), manage online submissions, and coordinate remediation measures for orders or fines involving relevant parties.
- Manage the hourly associate accident documentation process, including online filing, investigation, issuing modified job offers, and ensuring resolution.
- Facilitate two-way communications with Store Management for attendance monitoring, documentation completion, and accountability.
- Assist in collecting and verifying documentation needed for customer claim folders.
- Submit and oversee Facilities Maintenance requests, including pest control management.
- Utilize escalation procedures to resolve outstanding issues and tickets promptly.
- Conduct safety inspections and actively participate in the safety team, following up on identified actions from meetings and inspections.
Compensation
The starting wage for this position is $20.00 per hour.
