Job description
Overview
This role collaborates with various organizational levels including Store and Market Management and Subject Matter Experts to lead compliance education and monitoring within the facility. The objective is to enhance trust with customers, associates, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies by ensuring adherence to compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote compliance and safety awareness utilizing Ethics and Compliance resources.
- Drive compliance improvements via assessments across areas such as Health & Safety, Environmental, Consumer Protection, Anti-Money Laundering, Food Safety, Privacy & Employment, Licenses & Permits, and Anti-Corruption.
- Provide on-site compliance training, including orientation for new associates.
- Analyze data to detect gaps or trends in program execution, determine root causes, and support corrective action plans.
- Engage in regulatory visits (excluding Health & Wellness and HR matters), including submission of reports and coordinating responses to any orders or fines.
- Manage accident documentation processes for hourly associates, including investigations and follow-ups.
- Establish effective communication with Store Management for attendance, progress tracking, and accountability.
- Assist in assembling and verifying documentation for customer claim folders.
- Submit and track facilities maintenance requests, including pest control management.
- Use escalation tools to resolve compliance-related issues and pending tickets.
- Participate actively in safety walks and inspections as a safety team member, and ensure follow-up on identified action items.
Additional Information
The starting hourly wage for this position is $17.10.
