Compliance & Consultant Onboarding Specialist

Role overview

This position focuses on consultant onboarding and compliance operations. The person in this role will help ensure consultants are cleared against client requirements, onboarding steps stay on track, and compliance standards are consistently met across several healthcare client accounts. The role is fully remote, or can be hybrid with two in-office days for candidates located near Alpharetta, Georgia.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate health screenings, drug tests, immunizations, and other onboarding-related medical requirements for consultants.
• Monitor screening outcomes and update records in the company’s onboarding systems.
• Work with clinical vendors to make sure client-specific compliance requirements are satisfied.
• Check onboarding documents and keep compliance files accurate and up to date.
• Assist with client audits and compliance reporting.
• Manage vendor partnerships and support contract and pricing discussions.
• Oversee criminal background checks and credentialing workflows.
• Track ongoing screening and monitoring obligations.
• Partner closely with Recruiting, Engagement, Compliance, HR, and Accounting teams.
• Look for ways to improve processes through automation and better workflow design.
• Help train and onboard new team members.
• Take on special projects and operational tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in compliance, credentialing, onboarding, healthcare staffing, healthcare operations, HR operations, or a similar area.
• Background as a Medical Laboratory Technician, Phlebotomist, or Pathology Assistant is a plus.
• Strong organization and a sharp eye for detail.
• Comfort handling several priorities in a busy, fast-moving environment.
• Clear written and spoken communication skills.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, and browser-based business tools.
• Exposure to credentialing, background screening, healthcare onboarding, travel administration, or compliance software is preferred.
• Ability to work autonomously while coordinating effectively with multiple teams.
