Job description
Position Overview
We are looking for a diligent Compliance and Regulatory Reporting Officer to join our team in Riyadh. The individual will ensure the company's adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies while reviewing technical and professional reports for regulatory conformity. This role includes contributing to the development of compliance policies, monitoring anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing requirements, preparing periodic reports, and promoting a culture of compliance and governance within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Review technical and professional reports prior to issuance to confirm alignment with approved regulations and policies.
- Assess contracts, letters, and related forms from a compliance perspective.
- Monitor enforcement of compliance policies, procedures, and anti-money laundering/terrorist financing measures.
- Audit client files to ensure they meet due diligence requirements (CDD/KYC).
- Draft and maintain compliance, governance policies, procedures, and compliance records.
- Track regulatory updates from authorities and analyze their impact on company operations.
- Coordinate with internal departments and legal advisors on regulatory issues.
- Compile periodic compliance and risk-level reports for management review.
- Respond to internal and external audit observations and oversee remediation plan execution.
- Organize awareness and training programs targeting compliance and governance topics.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2 to 5 years of experience in compliance, governance, or regulatory auditing.
- Preferred background includes experience in accounting or auditing firms, law offices, or compliance and governance departments.
- Solid knowledge of Saudi regulatory frameworks and laws relevant to the role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Word.
- Strong skills in preparing, writing, and reviewing reports.
- High analytical capability with the ability to identify regulatory risks.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills to work effectively across departments.
- Fluency in Arabic is required; English proficiency is preferred.
- Professional certifications in compliance, governance, or anti-money laundering are advantageous.
