About Mindrift and the Role
Mindrift partners specialists with leading technology firms on project-based AI enhancement tasks, particularly focusing on reviewing, assessing, and refining AI systems. This opportunity is not for permanent employment; contributors engage on a project basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and assess rule application scenarios by examining compliance artifacts such as advertisements, disclosures, or policies in relation to specific regulations, citing the exact applicable subclauses.
- Compose sanction alert disposition cases including structured documentation of false-positive justifications and scenarios for escalation.
- Develop compliance sampling scenarios involving sample selection, design, documenting findings, and preparing conclusion memos suitable for examiners.
- Identify policy gaps where internal policies may be silent, contradictory, or outdated compared to regulatory requirements, and document these cases.
- Ensure all case documentation includes precise regulatory citations; avoid approximations or fabrications.
Candidate Profile
- Educational background in Law, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, or related disciplines.
- At least 2 years of experience in compliance, audit, legal, risk management, or financial services.
- Current or recent roles in compliance, regulatory affairs, financial crime, or related fields.
- Strong discipline for precise citation of regulatory subsections, with readiness to indicate uncertainty rather than guess.
- Possession of certification such as CRCM, CAMS, or local equivalents is highly advantageous; experience as a regulatory examiner or inspector is also beneficial.
- Excellent written English skills at proficiency level C1 or higher.
Project Process and Workload
Applicants undergo qualification assessments before project selection. During active project phases, contributors typically spend approximately 10 to 20 hours weekly, though workload varies and is not guaranteed.
Remuneration
Payment can reach up to $60 per hour equivalent depending on contributor expertise and output. Compensation levels fluctuate between projects according to scope and complexity.
