Role overview
An FMCG and personal care company in Mumbai is hiring a qualified Company Secretary with at least 2 years of post-qualification experience. The position focuses on secretarial administration, statutory compliance, and corporate governance support, with responsibility for ensuring adherence to the Companies Act, 2013 and other applicable regulatory provisions.
The role offers broad exposure to board processes, shareholder meetings, regulatory filings, annual reporting, and governance-related matters within a well-established and growing organization.

Key responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate Board, Committee, AGM, and EGM meetings, including preparing agendas, drafting minutes, and documenting resolutions.
- Manage ROC-related filings, statutory registers, annual returns, and other Companies Act compliance requirements from start to finish.
- Liaise with the ROC, RTA, depositories, auditors, and other external stakeholders involved in compliance and reporting processes.
- Draft and finalize annual reports and ensure timely submission of statutory and secretarial disclosures.
- Assist with capital restructuring, amendments to the MOA and AOA, secretarial audits, and corporate governance initiatives.
Required profile
- Must be a qualified Company Secretary (ACS) with a minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience.
- Solid working knowledge of the Companies Act, 2013 and day-to-day corporate secretarial practices.
- Practical experience handling ROC filings, board and committee meetings, AGMs and EGMs, and statutory documentation.
- Strong written drafting ability, communication skills, and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines consistently.
