Overview
We invite applications for the role of Portfolio Reconciliation Analyst specializing in Private Wealth Management, ideally suited for candidates with at least one year of experience in investment operations and portfolio reconciliation. This role demands meticulous attention to detail and robust understanding of portfolio accounting and trade lifecycle management across diverse asset classes within a dynamic global investment environment. The position is based in Pune.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct daily client portfolio reconciliation to ensure alignment with custodian data.
- Identify, analyze, and resolve discrepancies in portfolio reconciliation involving multiple investment instruments.
- Liaise with various internal teams including Trade Support, Corporate Actions, Pricing, Security Setup, and Operations for coordinated issue resolution and process flow.
- Engage with custodians to address and rectify portfolio inconsistencies within stipulated deadlines.
- Monitor and rectify both open and closed lot reconciliation discrepancies with accuracy and precision.
- Ensure the timely and quality completion of all reconciliation-related tasks.
- Contribute to process enhancement initiatives and participate actively in relevant operational projects.
- Maintain thorough reconciliation reporting, audit documentation, and procedural records.
Candidate Requirements
- 1 to 4 years' experience in portfolio reconciliation, investment operations, middle office, asset management, custody operations, or prime brokerage roles.
- Familiarity with a variety of financial products such as equities, mutual funds, fixed income, foreign exchange, options, and bank debt instruments.
- In-depth knowledge of portfolio accounting principles, trade lifecycle processes, corporate actions, and settlement management.
- Excellent analytical skills combined with proven ability in reconciliation and troubleshooting complex issues.
- Strong command of MS Excel functions including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and IF conditions; experience with Macros considered a plus.
- Effective communication and proficient stakeholder management capabilities.
- Preferred experience working with investment platforms like SunGard Advantage or Broadridge.
- Availability to work in US shift timings.
- Academic qualification of a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Commerce, Accounting, Business Administration, or related fields.
