Role Overview
As a Company Secretary within Revolut's Legal team, you will help ensure global expansion is conducted in accordance with robust governance and compliance standards. The role is pivotal in advising senior stakeholders and supporting the company’s corporate responsibilities on an international level.
Main Responsibilities
- Deliver independent and expert corporate governance guidance to executive and supervisory boards and their committees.
- Organize and distribute meeting agendas and documents, participate in meetings, prepare detailed minutes, and track follow-up actions.
- Engage with senior stakeholders to optimize local governance and standardize processes across business units.
- Oversee the execution of company documents, including shareholder resolutions, KYC paperwork, forms, and legal applications.
- Support compliance with local regulations for all management and supervisory entities.
- Maintain statutory records and ensure timely filings with company registries.
- Drive high-impact governance projects and cross-team initiatives.
- Act as Revolut’s representative to external legal authorities, including notaries and regulatory bodies.
- Manage shareholder interactions, oversee share-related compliance, and update essential company records such as director and shareholder lists.
Requirements
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in law and/or a recognised company secretarial certification (e.g., ICSA/CGI).
- Have a minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience, ideally in financial services or technology sectors.
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of corporate governance, company law, and conflict of interest management.
- Show meticulous attention to detail and proficiency in organizing board and committee operations, including accurate minute-taking.
- Experience in independently managing compliance activities for legal entities.
- Exhibit strong interpersonal skills for relationship building at senior levels of an organization.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, deliver results under pressure, and maintain resilience.
- Proven capacity to communicate complex governance matters effectively and proactively to a range of stakeholders.
- Fluency in English is essential.
