Job description
Overview and Key Responsibilities
As a Company Secretary at IFZA Dubai, you will ensure the organization's adherence to all relevant legal, regulatory, and corporate governance standards. Your role involves advising executive management on governance issues, directors’ responsibilities, and compliance obligations. You will help develop and uphold corporate governance policies and procedures, monitor changes in legislation, and keep the business promptly informed about matters impacting its operations.
Additionally, you will oversee all statutory and regulatory submissions such as annual reports, financial statements, trade licence renewals, and maintain comprehensive corporate records including shareholder and director documentation, resolutions, and statutory registers. Maintaining accurate and accessible corporate records in both physical and digital formats, regularly updating the organizational structure, and liaising with regulators, auditors, legal advisors, and other external parties will be integral components of your duties.

Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related area.
- Preferably holds a Professional Company Secretary certification such as CGI/ICSA, ICSI, or equivalent.
- At least five years of relevant experience in Company Secretary, Governance, Compliance, Legal, or Corporate Affairs roles.
- Proven professional exposure within a corporate environment in the UAE or the broader GCC region.
- Demonstrated competency in handling governance issues, statutory filings, regulatory compliance, and management of corporate documents.
