About the Role
Sterling Engineering Ltd is looking for a highly organized and proactive Company Administrator to manage the daily operations of the business. This is a dynamic, practical position that encompasses financial administration, general support, recruitment assistance, and marketing tasks, with a significant focus on bookkeeping and financial procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily bookkeeping, including managing accounts payable and receivable.
- Process invoices and expenses, ensuring meticulous maintenance of financial records.
- Perform bank statement reconciliations and contribute to month-end closing procedures.
- Manage monthly contractor payroll, guaranteeing timely and accurate payments.
- Aid in financial reporting and collaborate with external accounting professionals.
- Monitor cash flow and handle general financial administration duties.
- Offer administrative support to both the recruitment and engineering departments.
- Maintain and update data within the Applicant Tracking System/Customer Relationship Management system (Mercury), including candidate profiles and CV formatting.
- Manage job advertisements, ensuring uniformity across Mercury and company website listings.
- Support marketing initiatives, such as managing LinkedIn content and tracking performance.
Working Arrangements
The standard working hours are Monday to Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. There is potential for a 4-day work week or a part-time schedule, contingent upon the candidate's experience and specific requirements. This role is primarily based in Oranmore, County Galway, with some flexibility for remote work.
