Position Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Community Manager for Burning Tree Apartments located in Hermitage, Tennessee. This role focuses on resident satisfaction, operational efficiency, and adherence to applicable laws and policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage frequently with residents to respond proactively to their needs, emphasizing relationship building and encouraging resident retention.
- Maximize net operating income by implementing effective cost control measures.
- Prepare and manage annual operating and capital budgets.
- Monitor residents' compliance with lease terms and enforce obligations accordingly.
- Ensure strict compliance with State and Federal Fair Housing Laws.
- Maintain units and community spaces in market-ready condition.
- Handle rental collection, posting, and invoice data entry.
- Perform additional tasks assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Strong financial management ability including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- Leadership skills to effectively manage and guide community staff.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Experience with OneSite, Yardi, and/or eSite property management software is preferred but not mandatory.
- High School diploma or equivalent is necessary; some college education is strongly preferred.
- At least 3 years of experience as a Community Manager or Assistant Community Manager.
- Knowledge of Tax Credit programs is required.
- Accountability for all day-to-day operational aspects of the assigned property.
