Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Community Manager for Burning Tree Apartments located in Hermitage, Tennessee. This role focuses on resident satisfaction, operational efficiency, and adherence to applicable laws and policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage frequently with residents to respond proactively to their needs, emphasizing relationship building and encouraging resident retention.
  • Maximize net operating income by implementing effective cost control measures.
  • Prepare and manage annual operating and capital budgets.
  • Monitor residents' compliance with lease terms and enforce obligations accordingly.
  • Ensure strict compliance with State and Federal Fair Housing Laws.
  • Maintain units and community spaces in market-ready condition.
  • Handle rental collection, posting, and invoice data entry.
  • Perform additional tasks assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • Strong financial management ability including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Leadership skills to effectively manage and guide community staff.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Experience with OneSite, Yardi, and/or eSite property management software is preferred but not mandatory.
  • High School diploma or equivalent is necessary; some college education is strongly preferred.
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Community Manager or Assistant Community Manager.
  • Knowledge of Tax Credit programs is required.
  • Accountability for all day-to-day operational aspects of the assigned property.
