Job description
Job Summary
Located in Trenton, Ontario, this full-time position requires availability Monday through Friday mornings. The Community Manager will oversee daily operations of residential properties by performing administrative tasks while delivering outstanding tenant services.
Primary Duties
- Promote and showcase vacant units to potential renters, respond promptly to rental inquiries, handle application processing including credit checks, liaise with Head Office for approvals, and finalize lease agreements with meticulous logging of all communications.
- Ensure tenant satisfaction by quickly resolving concerns within 24 hours, offering top-notch customer support, facilitating maintenance and minor repairs, and managing tenant disputes with respectful communication.
- Remain accessible during office hours to respond rapidly to tenant emergencies, prioritize accommodation requests in line with accessibility policies, and organize engagement events to foster community spirit.
- Manage fire safety compliance through recordkeeping and inspections, handle rent collection and expense tracking, assist in audits, execute administrative responsibilities such as handling correspondence and posting notices, and maintain thorough transactional records.
- Prepare accurate documents related to leases, property inspections, and resident files, utilizing property management software to monitor expenses.
Qualifications
- Completion of post-secondary education in business administration, hospitality, or sales, with a minimum of two years’ experience in office administration and customer service roles.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license with a good driving record; automobile insurance may be required.
- Proficiency in computer software including Microsoft Word, Excel, and email/web-based applications.
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds, bend, push, pull, and navigate stairs.
