We are hiring Community Healthcare Assistants on both full-time and part-time bases to provide compassionate care across Salisbury and nearby areas including Amesbury, Wilton, Harnham, Laverstock, and Odstock.

Position Responsibilities

As a Community Healthcare Assistant, your role will involve delivering personal care and emotional support to clients in their residences. Key tasks include assisting with washing, dressing, continence care, preparing meals, medication support, promoting independence through outcome-focused care, companionship, minor household chores, collaborating with families and healthcare professionals, and documenting client progress and any changes.

Candidate Profile

The role is open to both experienced individuals and newcomers to care who embody caring, compassionate, and dependable values. Essential qualities include strong communication, a positive and proactive mindset, the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively, possession of a full UK driving license, and access to a vehicle.

Compensation and Working Conditions

Hourly pay ranges from A313.65 to A314.65, with an increased rate up to A318.50 on bank holidays. Weekly earnings typically fall between A3530 and A3725 depending on hours worked. Shift options are flexible including mornings (7am to 2pm), evenings (4pm to 10pm), nights (10pm to 7am), with availability expected every other weekend promoting work-life balance.
