Our mission is to foster independence, confidence, and empowerment among women in India, the U.S., and globally.
Role Overview
We seek a dedicated individual passionate about women's empowerment with experience in nonprofit, NGO, or social-impact sectors. This person will play a pivotal role in building and coordinating GWP initiatives by connecting with inspiring women, nurturing professional relationships, and supporting media and podcast projects.
Responsibilities
- Identify and engage with accomplished women from diverse professional fields.
- Establish and maintain relationships with entrepreneurs, educators, community leaders, and changemakers.
- Assist in designing and implementing women's empowerment programs and community efforts.
- Collaborate with organizations and women in both the U.S. and India.
- Research prospects for speakers, mentors, partners, and relevant organizations for GWP initiatives.
- Support coordination of Global Women Power podcasts and related media featuring inspiring stories.
- Conduct outreach through emails, calls, LinkedIn, and social media channels.
- Organize interviews, meetings, events, and discussions with potential collaborators and participants.
- Highlight contributions of women in business, technology, healthcare, education, and other sectors.
- Promote awareness campaigns that amplify women's voices and achievements.
- Maintain detailed records of contacts, partnerships, and ongoing projects.
- Collaborate internally to create new programs and partnerships aligned with GWP’s mission.
Qualifications and Skills
- Prior work or volunteer experience in nonprofits, NGOs, or social-impact organizations preferred.
- Familiarity with organizations in India and/or the U.S. is advantageous.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Ability to engage comfortably with business professionals, executives, and community leaders.
- Proven networking, research, organizational, and follow-up capabilities.
- Confidence in conducting professional outreach via calls and digital channels.
- Self-driven with the capacity to manage ongoing relationships independently.
- Passion for advancing women's empowerment, equality, education, leadership, and entrepreneurship.
- Experience in social media management, LinkedIn outreach, podcasting, interviews, or community engagement is a plus.
Personality and Work Ethic
The ideal candidate is motivated by purpose rather than just employment, enjoys networking, storytelling, and turning conversations into impactful initiatives. Demonstrated community engagement or volunteering experience will be highly regarded.
Work Schedule and Conditions
- Full-time position based onsite in Chandigarh.
- Regular night shifts from Monday to Friday.
- Weekends and U.S. federal holidays off.
What This Role Offers

- Networking opportunities with accomplished women and leaders.
- Role in shaping upcoming podcasts and media content.
- Exposure to nonprofit efforts spanning India and the United States.
- A chance to contribute meaningfully towards enhancing women's leadership, earning potential, and educational opportunities.
