It suits someone highly organized, adaptable, and resilient who can stay effective in a matrixed environment, juggle several priorities at once, and shift quickly as business needs change. The emphasis is on turning communications strategy into practical action across media, content, events, and internal messaging.
Key Duties
- Carry out communications plans and activities as assigned by regional or global communications leaders.
- Handle day-to-day coordination to ensure materials are delivered on time and to a high standard across Southeast Asia.
- Support internal communications efforts that strengthen employee engagement, clarity, and alignment.
- Prepare and coordinate content for internal platforms such as newsletters, intranet posts, and employee events.
- Support messaging for community work, volunteer programs, and ESG-related initiatives.
- Assist with media relations activities by drafting and polishing press releases and media collateral, arranging interviews and briefings, maintaining media lists, monitoring coverage, and preparing reports.
- Adapt global communications content for Southeast Asian audiences.
- Help communicate around industry events, milestones, and company announcements.
- Draft, edit, and tailor content for press materials, internal announcements, social media, digital channels, and event-related assets.
- Make sure all communications are accurate, suitable for the audience, and aligned with company standards.
- Maintain careful version control and organized document management.
- Provide practical communications support for industry events, sponsorships, and Lam-hosted activities in Southeast Asia.
- Coordinate logistics for communications deliverables with internal stakeholders, agencies, and vendors.
- Handle other tasks assigned by the immediate supervisor as needed.
Required Background
The role calls for a bachelor’s degree in Communications or a related discipline, along with at least 2 years of experience in communications, public relations, or marketing communications.
Candidates should have strong written and verbal communication abilities, a sharp eye for detail, and the capacity to manage timelines and multiple tasks accurately. Comfort working in a fast-moving environment with changing priorities is important, as is a strong work ethic, resilience, and a willingness to keep learning.
Preferred Experience
Experience in B2B, technology, manufacturing, or agency settings will be helpful. Exposure to media relations, internal communications, or event support is also an advantage, along with familiarity with basic creative tools such as PowerPoint or simple visual and video tools.
