Contract Terms
This consultancy is offered for a period of 12 months on a fully remote basis.

Role Purpose
Under the direction of the Secretariat Director of the Partnership for a Lead-Free Future, the consultant will assist in producing engaging content, enhancing audience engagement, and fostering partnership collaborations.
Key Qualifications
- Advanced university degree (master's level or equivalent) in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, International Relations, Public Health, Marketing, Development Studies, or similar disciplines; alternatively, a bachelor's degree with relevant work experience may suffice.
- Minimum of five years’ progressively responsible experience in communications, digital advocacy, public information, or partner engagement roles, ideally within international organizations, UN entities, NGOs, or development initiatives.
- Proven experience creating digital content such as newsletters, reports, social media posts, and web materials.
- Familiarity with organizing webinars and supporting high-profile events is a strong advantage.
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken, is required.
Desired Skills and Expertise
- Strong editing, proofreading, and content development expertise.
- Proficiency in managing websites and digital communication tools.
- Experience with newsletter platforms (e.g., Mailchimp).
- Ability to use graphic design applications like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Knowledge of social media management and analytics tools.
- Experience engaging within multi-stakeholder partnerships.
- Understanding of public health, environmental, or child health matters is an asset.
- Excellent organizational, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
Additional Assets
- Prior exposure to communications in international organizations or development partnerships.
- Experience translating technical information into accessible and compelling materials for different audiences.
- Expertise with content management systems and website administration.
- Capable of developing a range of communication deliverables including blogs, newsletters, fact sheets, and reports.
- Knowledgeable about branding and visual identity standards.
- Experience with UN or global partnership environments is favorable.
