Overview
The Communications and Marketing Manager is responsible for crafting and executing a comprehensive communications plan aimed at enhancing visibility and commercial success for a particular department or program.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and oversee communications and marketing initiatives for a department or large program.
- Set both long-term and short-term goals, strategies, and timelines for communications and marketing efforts.
- Review current strategies and develop new approaches to align with business objectives.
- Lead a marketing team managing the creation of printed collateral, press releases, and digital content.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to identify newsworthy stories.
- Ensure compliance with corporate marketing protocols and style guidelines; potentially develop internal standardized policies.
- Write, revise, and proofread content when necessary.
- Design layouts and coordinate with vendors and internal teams to publish and distribute materials.
- Supervise the review process for purchase orders, contract terms, pricing, and proposal submissions, ensuring adherence to procurement policies.
- Administer contracts to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Manage departmental marketing budgets.
- Handle personnel management tasks including hiring, training, appraisal, and discipline.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, marketing, business, or a related discipline; a master's degree is preferred.
- A minimum of five years of marketing experience, including at least two years in management, ideally in healthcare.

Compensation
The position offers a salary range from $82,159.99 to $123,288.79 annually, subject to factors such as experience and education. This range does not cover bonuses, differential pay, or additional benefits.
