Job Overview

The Commercial Strategy Manager will be part of the Partnerships, Growth Business Strategy & Value Creation team, focusing on unlocking growth and value across major external collaboration and ventures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic problem solving to uncover new commercial value opportunities within vital partnerships and growth areas.
  • Design and manage complex projects integrating commercial, financial, and strategic perspectives to resolve ambiguous business challenges.
  • Carry out thorough commercial, financial, and market analyses supporting investment decisions and strategic insights.
  • Create clear and compelling executive-level presentations, board papers, and materials that communicate complex data effectively.
  • Oversee strategic initiatives end-to-end, ensuring alignment to milestones and desired commercial outcomes.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders by providing data-driven insights and structured problem-solving.
  • Develop and nurture productive relationships with internal leaders and external partners to facilitate aligned priorities and long-term value generation.

Candidate Profile

  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in top-tier strategy consulting, transaction advisory, corporate development, M&A, or commercial strategy functions.
  • Bachelor's degree compulsory; advanced qualifications such as an MBA preferred.
  • Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking skills to simplify complex issues into actionable business strategies.
  • Robust commercial and financial expertise with demonstrated ability in evaluating business performance and commercial deals.
  • Strong project management skills capable of handling multiple simultaneous initiatives.
  • Outstanding stakeholder relationship skills with proven influence at senior leadership levels.
  • Excellent communication abilities including experience in preparing executive communications and strategic recommendations.
  • Adaptability, resilience, and eagerness to learn in dynamic environments.
  • Proficient with MS Office applications and financial modeling/analysis tools.
