Overview
ArrowMark Partners seeks a Commercial Real Estate Investment Analyst/Associate specializing in Structured Equity at their Denver, Colorado headquarters. This role offers significant development potential for dedicated professionals aiming to deepen their expertise across diverse commercial real estate market areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior investment staff to underwrite, structure, and execute commercial real estate investments, focusing especially on commercial mortgage lending.
- Conduct underwriting and thorough investment analysis across multiple property types, prepare deal summaries, investment memoranda, and assist with transaction structuring, due diligence, closing activities, and asset/risk management.
- Perform cash flow estimations and property valuations by analyzing past and current property operations, alongside comprehensive market research and fundamental investment opportunity analyses.
- Manage relationships with clients throughout the loan process, including loan quoting to closing, and maintain regular communications with mortgage brokers, bankers, and borrowers, serving as a liaison to originators.
- Participate in structuring, drafting, and negotiating documents such as LOIs, term sheets, partnership agreements, and loan documents, as well as engaging in due diligence and closing procedures.
- Present actively in pipeline meetings, internal deal discussions, and investment committees, demonstrating strong communication and presentation abilities.
- Gather and evaluate all necessary due diligence materials for loan underwriting and closing, including lease rolls, tenant analyses, historical operating statements, borrower entity documents, SNDAs, estoppels, tax returns, and bank statements.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- 2 to 5 years in real estate investment with a top-tier investment bank, private equity, or advisory firm preferred.
- Proven track record of assessing and managing real estate investments, conducting independent research, due diligence, and underwriting deals.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Argus, CoStar, financial modeling, and ability to clearly present findings and recommendations to senior management. Familiarity with AI technologies is advantageous.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal effectiveness, high motivation, intellectual curiosity, and commitment to continuous learning. Exceptional attention to detail is essential.
- Excellent work ethic with capacity to manage multiple tasks and deadlines, taking initiative in a dynamic environment collaborating with diverse originators.
- Experience in capital markets and established connections with real estate sponsors, intermediaries, and capital partners are beneficial though not required.
- Completion of an undergraduate degree is mandatory; CFA and/or MBA credentials are beneficial.

Compensation & Benefits
- The estimated base salary range is $90,000 to $150,000 USD, subject to experience and skills.
- Eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus based on individual, team, and company performance.
