KSA Commercial Leader - Saudi National, Amazon Stores

Overview

Amazon seeks a highly driven and skilled Commercial Leader, specifically a Saudi national, to join our Riyadh office. This role entails leading an entire store business unit in KSA with full profit and loss accountability. The leader will oversee vendor and merchant relations, inventory management, and product offerings. This position directs a high-performing team dedicated to expanding Amazon’s presence by enhancing core business functions, launching innovative initiatives, and delivering an unparalleled shopping experience in Saudi Arabia, featuring a wider selection of products, superior content, and leading brands.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the business team and foster accountability across supporting functions for key metrics including selection growth, unit sales, inventory turnover, and stock availability.
• Drive ongoing innovation to elevate customer experience and strengthen relationships with vendors.
• Offer localized insights regarding customer experience to senior leadership, vendors, third-party merchants, and category teams.
• Partner cross-functionally with Technology, Operations, and Merchant Services teams to define and optimize processes for resource efficiency.
• Analyze business data to derive actionable strategies that boost category performance.
• Implement lasting process improvements to ensure sustained category growth year after year.
• Innovate methods to expand product selection and increase category visibility for long-term success.
• Focus on recruitment, development, and motivation of team members to cultivate expertise and drive results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in a technical or analytical field.
• Proven experience managing multi-disciplinary teams and developing managerial talent within a data-driven environment.

Preferred Experience

• Background in retail or digital content areas such as vendor management, product management, or operations management.
• Experience in consulting, business development, or as a business leader with P&L responsibility, especially in an international context.
