Job description
Role Overview and Responsibilities
This role involves active coordination with customers and internal teams regarding project requirements and the technical details of job scopes. The candidate is expected to meet clients on site to engage in project discussions, clearly grasp and communicate technical aspects, and be responsible for preparing quotations, tenders, and necessary submissions. Additional duties include compiling service reports and sourcing spare parts relevant to the projects.
Candidate Requirements and Qualifications
Applicants must be Singaporean citizens or Permanent Residents. Prior experience and familiarity with vessel new construction, repair, and upgrading are essential. A valid driving license is considered an advantage. Candidates should be proficient in Microsoft Office and demonstrate the ability to work within a shipyard environment. Preference will be given to those residing in the western region of Singapore.
Educationally, candidates should hold at least an ITE or Diploma in a relevant electrical or mechanical engineering discipline, accompanied by relevant work experience.
Compensation
The salary ranges between $3,000 and $4,000 per month, commensurate with the candidate's experience.
