About the Role

An expanding construction firm with a robust project pipeline is seeking an experienced Commercial Concrete Estimator to join their preconstruction team based in Savannah, GA, offering the option to work remotely for qualified candidates. This role focuses on supporting project acquisition efforts by preparing precise cost estimates and competitive bids in a collaborative and growth-centric setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed and accurate cost estimates as well as competitive bid proposals.
• Conduct quantity takeoffs and perform thorough cost analyses.
• Examine construction drawings, bid documents, and specifications rigorously.
• Assist in preconstruction processes including planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Collaborate with operations, project management, and business development teams to formulate effective bidding strategies.
• Handle multiple estimating projects while ensuring precision and meeting deadlines.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum of five years experience in commercial concrete estimating.
• Strong background in structural and commercial concrete projects.
• Capable of independently producing estimates with little supervision.
• Experienced in reviewing plans and specifications critically.
• Detail-oriented with excellent analytical abilities and communication skills.
• Self-motivated and able to thrive in a team-oriented environment.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $95,000 to $130,000 or more, with potential adjustments based on experience, qualifications, and overall suitability.
