Job description
Overview
Fan Milk PLC seeks a seasoned and analytical professional to join as Commercial Asset Mobility & Equipment Manager. This pivotal role entails overseeing the management, productivity, upkeep, deployment, and ongoing enhancement of all commercial field equipment critical for sales operations. The position reports directly to the Sales Director for West Africa and is based permanently in Accra, Ghana.
Key Responsibilities and Requirements
- Bring 5-10 years of relevant experience in managing equipment, fleet operations, automobile services, logistics, field service, telecom field operations, solar or refrigeration equipment, construction equipment rental, or FMCG cooler/freezer management.
- Demonstrated ability to administer distributed physical assets across diverse users, sites, or branches efficiently.
- Proficient in maintenance scheduling, spare parts management, repair coordination, supplier negotiation, cost monitoring and enforcing user accountability measures.
- Familiarity with asset tracking technologies, fleet management tools, ERP systems, mobile reporting, dashboards, and use of QR/RFID/GPS/Bluetooth devices or advanced spreadsheet systems.
- Experience operating in Ghanaian field conditions is highly advantageous.
