Role overview

DP World is seeking an experienced Commercial Account Manager to strengthen a major global technology account and help drive business growth. The position is based either in Łódź, Poland or Limerick, Ireland. The role blends account management with an operational lens, with the aim of safeguarding service delivery while expanding contract logistics and freight forwarding business.

What you will do

  • Act as a central member of the account team responsible for protecting and expanding business with a leading global tech customer.
  • Support account management with a strong operational focus so service commitments to the client are consistently met.
  • Build dependable relationships at the right levels within the client organisation and serve as the first contact for new opportunities, project requests, concerns, commercial matters and escalations.
  • Work closely with internal teams such as operations, engineering and IT to coordinate action and deliver on customer commitments.
  • Review client needs against current services on an ongoing basis and identify opportunities for additional business through upselling and cross-selling.
  • Prepare and update KPI and scorecard information to support recurring business reviews such as MBR, QBR and EBR, and ensure action items are followed through.
  • Coordinate company resources, including operations, engineering and management, to meet performance targets and customer expectations.
  • Help maintain consistent processes and best-practice sharing across 12 sites serving this tech client.
  • Drive new revenue and profitability by leading renewals, pursuing new opportunities and tracking service change requests and commercial resolutions across contract logistics and freight forwarding.
  • Support new implementations linked to scope expansion and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean and Six Sigma activities, across the sites.

Requirements

  • A university degree is required, with business or engineering studies preferred.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in contract logistics and freight forwarding; experience in other logistics areas such as road transport or manufacturing support will also be useful.
  • Strong capability to manage several projects simultaneously while keeping a close eye on detail.
  • A solution-oriented mindset; Lean or Six Sigma experience or certification is considered a strong advantage.
  • High focus on customer service and solid commercial judgement.
  • Experience working with technology customers is desirable.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 30%.
  • Fluency in English; Polish is an advantage.
