Job description
Role Overview
The Commercial Account Executive will focus on identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities across Zoom’s full portfolio of solutions. This role supports both existing customers and new growth organizations in Singapore with around 500 employees, helping them choose Zoom’s AI-powered workplace tools based on their business needs. You will own the sales cycle from prospecting through closure and partner closely with local and cross-functional teams to support business expansion in Singapore. The position reports to the local Sales Leader.

The team works globally, builds strong customer relationships, and supports businesses in getting the most value from virtual collaboration products.
Responsibilities
- Prospect new accounts and actively pursue fresh sales opportunities across the Singapore market.
- Manage the complete sales process, from lead generation and outreach to negotiation and deal closure.
- Sell Zoom’s suite of workplace and collaboration solutions to both new and existing commercial accounts.
- Work with partner channels as well as direct sales motions to grow business within current accounts and new logos.
- Handle complex sales cycles and larger strategic opportunities with a strong ownership mindset.
- Coordinate closely with local sales colleagues and cross-functional stakeholders to support growth objectives.
- Build persuasive customer narratives and present tailored solutions aligned to business needs.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of successful experience as an Account Executive in a fast-growing SaaS or IT environment.
- Hands-on experience using CRM platforms and related sales tools.
- Strong understanding of outreach techniques for engaging prospective clients.
- A proactive, hunter-oriented approach with accountability and business ownership.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong presentation ability.
- Ability to shape strategic messaging and explain value in a compelling way.
- Proven capability to win new accounts and expand business in existing ones.
- Experience managing complex sales situations and sizable projects.
- Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills.
Work Arrangement
