Overview
As a Collections Team Leader reporting to the Collection Manager or Area Collection Head, you will oversee and guide a group of collection executives to meet targeted loan recovery objectives. Your duties involve supervising both field and tele-collection operations, ensuring adherence to company protocols, enhancing team performance, and fostering positive customer interactions to reduce delinquent accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct and inspire a team of collection staff.
- Assign and monitor daily collection tasks and portfolios.
- Enforce compliance with organizational policies and collection standards.
- Organize and supervise field visits for collection officers.
- Guarantee completion of all necessary customer visits.
- Validate field activities and collection efforts.
- Improve routing and deployment for optimal manpower usage.
- Meet monthly collection and recovery targets.
- Promptly follow up on overdue accounts.
- Analyze collection results by delinquency category and team member performance.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in any field is preferred.
- At least 2 to 5 years’ background in loan collections, recovery, or financial services.
- Experience in team leadership is advantageous.
- Understanding of collection methodologies and recovery tactics.
- Skilled in MS Excel and collection software tools.
- Prepared to travel frequently for on-site collection activities.
