About the Role

Join Sky Handling Partner as a Coach Driver in a vital position within the airport's airside operations. You will be responsible for transporting passengers between terminals and aircraft, working in a lively and fast-changing environment that values safety and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct pre-trip vehicle safety inspections to confirm readiness.
  • Safely and efficiently transport passengers between aircraft and terminal.
  • Provide a courteous and professional passenger experience.
  • Maintain safety as a top priority during all driving and passenger assistance activities.
  • Inspect vehicles before and after trips for any lost items.
  • Ensure cleanliness and good appearance inside and outside the coach.
  • Promptly notify supervisors about delays, issues, or operational updates.
  • Report vehicle faults or maintenance needs immediately.
  • Comply with uniform and safety protocols, including wearing high-visibility gear.
  • Assist other team members with additional tasks as necessary.

Requirements

  • Hold an unrestricted Category D driving license for passenger coaches.
  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Successfully pass a 5-year security background check and Garda vetting.
  • Have legal authorization to live and work in the European Union.
  • Demonstrate strong verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Be flexible to work rostered shifts including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Perform effectively under pressure in a dynamic airport setting.
  • Display reliability and punctuality with excellent attendance records.
  • Maintain professional grooming and uniform standards as per company requirements.

Employment Details

This is a permanent full-time role on a 4 days on, 2 days off roster basis, averaging a 37.5 hour workweek. A six-month probation period applies. The gross annual salary is €37,000, with overtime compensated at 1.5 times the normal rate. Shift work involves variable start and finish times, including weekends and holidays.
