Positioned against larger players such as Urban Company and JustDial, Mr. Helper is at an early growth phase, offering significant influence over product development, market approach, and organizational culture to its founding team members.

Role Overview

This full-time co-founder role involves both onsite and offsite participation in Warangal, Telangana. As a co-founder with investment, you will collaborate closely with the existing founding team to establish business strategies and go-to-market plans focused on increasing user adoption in smaller Indian cities. Responsibilities include leading sales and marketing efforts, fostering relationships with local service providers and customers, executing continuous validation experiments to sharpen product-market fit, analyzing traction and performance metrics to enhance strategy, and coordinating with technology and operations teams to ensure timely product launches. The role requires capital investment, sharing ownership stakes, and a commitment to building a sustainable, growth-focused company from inception.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Strong analytical abilities to interpret traction data and evaluate market potential specifically in tier 2 and tier 3 cities
• Excellent communication skills for effectively conveying the company vision to service providers, customers, and investors
• Demonstrated sales experience including lead generation, negotiation, and revenue growth, preferably within local services or marketplace platforms
• Marketing expertise to design acquisition campaigns and position the brand against established competitors
• Research proficiency to understand customer needs and competitive dynamics in smaller Indian cities
• Entrepreneurial mindset with prior experience in startups or early-stage ventures advantageous
• Willingness and capability to invest financially under mutually agreed terms
• Educational background in technology, business, or related disciplines
• Ability to work both onsite and remotely with a high degree of personal accountability and ownership
