About the company
myFamilyBooking™ is developing a verified booking platform focused on families with young children throughout Europe. The product is still being built, and the team is looking for a growth- and commercial-minded co-founder who can take charge of both sides of the marketplace from the outset.
Role overview
As the Growth and Commercial Co-Founder, you will be responsible for the business engine on both supply and demand. On the supply side, you will expand and manage a network of verified, family-friendly properties across Europe, beginning in Germany. On the demand side, you will focus on bringing in parents, improving activation, and encouraging repeat use.
This is a founding opportunity, not a traditional marketing leadership position. The role comes with meaningful equity and end-to-end commercial responsibility.
Core ownership areas
- Finding, pitching, and onboarding family-friendly accommodation partners across Europe, starting with Germany.
- Building strategic partnerships.
- Attracting parents to the platform and supporting acquisition efforts.
- Improving conversion across the user journey.
- Shaping brand positioning and communications.
- Defining commercial and revenue strategy as the business scales.
- Leading go-to-market activity for the public launch.
What the team is looking for
The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of experience in marketplace growth, vendor acquisition, or commercial development. You should have worked on both sides of a two-sided platform and understand how to grow supply and demand together.
Strong knowledge of performance marketing, SEO, and content-led acquisition is important. The role also requires comfort working independently without an established team around you. A strong commercial mindset is essential, including the ability to move conversations toward closure and build a reliable pipeline.
Genuine interest in family travel, safety, trust, and verification is important. Prior experience in travel, hospitality, or consumer marketplaces would be a plus. German language ability is also a strong advantage for outreach to vendors in Germany and the wider DACH region.
