Role Overview

The company is seeking a commercial co-founder to join the founding team and drive market growth in Abu Dhabi and across the wider UAE. This is a co-founder opportunity rather than a standard employment role, designed for someone who wants long-term ownership, responsibility, and upside while helping build a serious UAE technology business.

What You Will Do

The selected partner will lead the commercial side of the business, including market positioning, partnerships, sales strategy, business development, client acquisition, and relationship-building in the local market. The role requires someone who understands how business is conducted in Abu Dhabi and the UAE and who can open doors with decision-makers across multiple sectors.

• Drive business development and revenue growth throughout Abu Dhabi and the UAE.
• Build trusted relationships with decision-makers, strategic partners, government-related entities, enterprise clients, and local business groups.
• Present ElephantClock’s AI agents, chatbots, and custom software offerings in a clear and industry-specific way.
• Spot high-value opportunities and turn them into qualified leads, proposals, partnerships, and signed projects.
• Represent the company at meetings, networking events, startup communities, trade events, and business forums.
• Collaborate with the technical founder on offers, pricing, proposals, and go-to-market planning.
• Create partnerships with consultants, agencies, system integrators, technology vendors, and sector-focused allies.
• Help establish the company’s commercial systems, including sales workflows, CRM discipline, pipeline tracking, and repeatable growth channels.

Ideal Profile

The right person should be based in Abu Dhabi or have deep ties to the Abu Dhabi and UAE business ecosystem. A strong background in marketing, business development, partnerships, or enterprise sales within technology, software, AI, SaaS, digital transformation, or consulting is preferred.

• Established network within UAE business circles, especially in Abu Dhabi.
• Ability to build trust, open conversations, and convert relationships into business opportunities.
• Comfort in speaking with CEOs, founders, department heads, procurement teams, and government or semi-government stakeholders.
• Strategic mindset paired with hands-on execution.
• Good understanding of UAE business culture and how local decisions are made.
• Arabic is an advantage, though not required if the candidate already has strong market access in the UAE.
• Entrepreneurial attitude, strong ownership, and readiness to build from an early stage.
• Business degree preferred; MBA or a relevant postgraduate qualification is a plus.
