Job description

The Opportunity

FutureSight is looking for a Co-Founder & CEO to build and lead Concordance, an AI-first company focused on clinical documentation compliance. This is a founding partnership with meaningful equity at inception, not a conventional paid executive position.

Concordance AI is designed to review 100% of healthcare charts in real time, surface payer-specific documentation gaps before billing, and remove the manual quality-assurance burden that drives millions in denials and clawbacks each year. Today, manual QA teams absorb more than 25% of operating labour budgets while reviewing only around 10% of patient charts, which leaves organizations highly exposed.

Market Context

The opportunity has already been tested directly with the market. FutureSight has spoken with Compliance Directors, QA Leaders, and Revenue Cycle Directors at behavioural health organizations, and the response has been consistently strong.

  • Strong product pull: every lead described the same solution idea — a pre-billing, real-time, EHR-connected alerting layer that checks documentation against payer-specific rules before claims are submitted.
  • Severe financial impact: the biggest pain point is post-payment recoupment. Buyers described recurring payer audits, often weekly or monthly, with single events causing losses between $150,000 and $850,000.
  • Funding is not the main hurdle: buyers said that if the product integrates well with their EHR and performs with high accuracy, budget approval is not the issue.

The target market is large and fragmented, with revenue-cycle teams increasingly overwhelmed by denials at scale. Estimated total addressable market is $4.0B-$6.0B+, covering more than 20,000 organizations such as multispecialty groups, behavioural health providers, and health systems. The ROI is compelling: at current pricing, the platform can repay itself by cutting manual audit labour by roughly 80-85% and by avoiding clawbacks that can amount to millions in losses.

About FutureSight

FutureSight is a venture studio that builds software companies with founder-led teams from the earliest stages through exit. The team includes founders, operators, and designers who have brought products to market at scale.

You would work alongside a seasoned studio group led by John Carbrey, Krista LaRiviere, Alan Smith, Prathna Ramesh, and Johnny Tong, bringing experience across entrepreneurship, exits, institutional investing, product strategy, and AI product development.

The Partnership

  • Founder-level ownership from day one, with meaningful equity.
  • Pre-seed funding already committed by FutureSight for early hiring and MVP buildout, with room for follow-on investment.
  • Full venture-building support, including design, engineering, growth, and fundraising resources.
  • Access to an investor and advisor network spanning vertical AI and early-stage capital.
  • A genuine co-building setup where you act as CEO while FutureSight serves as a hands-on partner.

What You Will Lead

  • Strategy: sharpen the ideal customer profile, pricing approach, and market positioning.
  • Customer development: run pilots with compliance and revenue-cycle leaders, turn them into paid relationships, and shape the go-to-market engine.
  • Product: collaborate with the product and engineering teams to launch the first version and improve it based on user feedback.
  • Capital raising: own the seed-round process, with support from FutureSight's network and early traction.
  • Team building: hire and guide the founding team while setting the company's culture.

Co-Founder Profile

The ideal founder has already operated in venture-backed environments and can confidently build a company from scratch.

  • Prior founding experience within a venture-backed business.
  • Proven ability to sell and build customer relationships in B2B SaaS or B2B AI.
  • Comfort and fluency with fundraising, including crafting investor stories and closing capital.
  • Track record of hiring, developing, and retaining high-performing talent.
  • Realistic understanding of the demands and uncertainty involved in co-founding a venture-backed startup.
  • Strong healthcare revenue-cycle knowledge, including medical billing, denial management, and workflow realities. You should understand the operational distinction between clinical/coding denials and administrative issues, and be familiar with the fragmented EHR/PM landscape and the patchwork tools billers rely on.

How to Apply

Submit your resume, LinkedIn profile, and a short note explaining why this opportunity fits your founder ambitions. The hiring team intends to move quickly for the right person.

Equal Opportunity

FutureSight states that it is committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion and encourages candidates from all backgrounds and experiences to apply.

This role is a founder partnership with equity, not a salaried job.
