Co-Founder & CEO - Entrepreneur in Residence

The opportunity

FutureSight is looking for a seasoned founder-minded operator to help create its next B2B AI company. This is a true co-founder partnership with significant founder equity, not a paid executive position.

The role is suited to repeat founders who already have an early concept they are working on, or who want to team up with FutureSight to evaluate, sharpen, and launch a new business together. You will collaborate closely with the studio to test ideas, discard weak directions, and take the strongest opportunity from idea stage through fundraising and scale.

This is a full-time, exclusive commitment focused on building and owning one B2B AI venture from the ground up.

FutureSight is a venture studio that partners with values-driven entrepreneurs to build software businesses from inception through exit. The team combines experience across founding, operations, design, investing, and product execution, with a track record of bringing software products to market successfully.

You will co-build with an experienced studio leadership group that includes John Carbrey, Krista LaRiviere, Alan Smith, Prathna Ramesh, and Johnny Tong, bringing together operator exits, early-stage capital expertise, and deep AI product knowledge.

Partnership and support

• Meaningful founder ownership from day one
• Pre-seed funding from FutureSight for early hiring and MVP creation, with possible follow-on capital later
• Access to venture-building support across design, engineering, growth, and fundraising starting immediately
• Support from an investor and advisor network focused on vertical AI and early-stage fundraising
• A collaborative model where you act as CEO while FutureSight serves as your operating partner

What you will lead

• Opportunity validation and early experimentation, including prototyping and testing ideas, with the judgment to stop pursuing concepts that do not prove out
• Definition of the target customer, pricing approach, and market positioning for the selected opportunity
• Customer discovery, pilot management, conversion of pilots into paid work, and development of the go-to-market motion
• Close collaboration with the product and engineering team to launch version one and improve it using user feedback
• Fundraising for the pre-seed and seed rounds, with support from FutureSight’s network and early traction
• Hiring and leadership of the founding team, along with setting the company’s culture from the start

Candidate profile

• Prior experience founding a venture-backed business
• Strong results in B2B AI or B2B SaaS go-to-market work, including selling and working with customers
• Confidence in fundraising, including shaping investor stories and securing capital
• Ability to identify, grow, and keep high-performing talent
• Realistic understanding of the demands and uncertainty involved in building a venture-backed startup
• Broad startup background with strength in at least one core area such as sales, technology, product, design, or marketing
• Relevant domain knowledge or a meaningful market advantage, paired with genuine interest in the problem space
