The opportunity

FutureSight is looking for a seasoned entrepreneur to partner in building its next B2B AI company from the earliest stage. This is a true co-founder arrangement with significant equity, not a conventional paid executive position.

The role is intended for repeat founders, including people who may already be exploring an early concept or those who want to collaborate with FutureSight to test, sharpen, and launch a new business together. You will work with the studio team to pressure-test ideas, eliminate weak ones, and take the strongest concept from zero to fundraising and beyond.

This is a full-time, exclusive commitment focused on creating and owning one B2B AI venture from scratch.

You will co-build alongside an experienced studio group led by John Carbrey, Krista LaRiviere, Alan Smith, Prathna Ramesh, and Johnny Tong, bringing together startup execution, exit experience, capital markets access, and deep AI product expertise.

What you will lead

• Opportunity validation: work with the team to test the idea, build prototypes, and confirm whether the solution has real market pull, with the discipline to abandon weak concepts early
• Go-to-market strategy: define the ideal customer profile, pricing approach, and product positioning for the opportunity that wins
• Customer development: run pilots, convert them into paying customers, and establish the initial sales motion
• Product execution: collaborate with product and engineering to launch the first version and improve it based on user feedback
• Fundraising: drive the pre-seed and seed raise with support from FutureSight’s network and early traction
• Team building: hire and lead the founding team while setting the company culture

Candidate profile

The ideal founder has prior experience building a venture-backed company and understands the realities of taking a startup from idea to scale. Strong experience in B2B AI or B2B SaaS go-to-market is important, especially in sales and customer-facing work.

You should be comfortable telling a compelling investor story and closing capital, and you should have a track record of attracting, developing, and keeping strong talent. A broad generalist mindset is essential, along with depth in at least one startup function such as sales, technology, product, design, or marketing. Domain expertise and a strong personal interest in the problem space are also important.
