Job Overview
As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer at Sify Limited, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing VMware vSphere environments across diverse client sectors. This role demands collaboration with various teams to align technical solutions with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain VMware vSphere setups tailored to client requirements.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand and address business needs through technical solutions.
- Diagnose and resolve advanced issues pertaining to virtualization, clustering, storage, networking, and security within VMware frameworks.
- Offer expert advice on optimal practices for large-scale virtual infrastructure deployment and upkeep.
Qualifications and Experience
- Between eight to eighteen years in IT services and consulting, focusing on VMware technologies, particularly vSphere.
- Strong knowledge of Linux OS and adeptness in working with ESXi hosts.
- Additional experience in Microsoft Hyper-V or other hypervisor platforms is beneficial.
- Skilled in the administration of extensive virtualized environments using vCenter Server.
