Cloud Consultant - OpenShift (Saudi Nationals Only)

Job Overview

Red Hat's Consulting division is seeking a Cloud Consultant specializing in Red Hat cloud technologies to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role entails designing and deploying cloud-ready infrastructure and application frameworks, notably involving container automation platforms and deployment pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a technical authority onsite, addressing IT strategies and development needs of customers.
• Adhere to industry standards and Red Hat's internal policies and values.
• Apply sound decision-making to identify optimal solutions.
• Deploy and integrate Red Hat cloud products such as OpenShift and Ansible Automation Platform.
• Collaborate with project teams and clients to achieve deadlines and objectives.
• Contribute to project documentation, diagrams, and support case management.
• Provide mentoring and knowledge sharing to clients and colleagues.
• Promote automation and DevOps methodologies to enhance cloud lifecycle management, focusing on uptime, availability, and reducing time-to-market.
• Design and implement cloud solutions using appropriate technologies, integration strategies, and automation techniques.

Qualifications and Skills

• Extensive experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
• Proficient hands-on expertise with Red Hat OpenShift platform and core technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker.
• Hands-on knowledge of Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform.
• Strong background in system infrastructure and cloud solutions including data storage, networking, monitoring, and security.
• Ability to communicate project benefits and progress effectively to technical and business stakeholders.
• Self-directed learner who quickly masters new concepts and implements them effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Willingness to be physically present onsite at customer locations over 50% of the time.
• Must be a Saudi Arabian passport holder or hold Premium Residency in KSA.
